Singapore is set to become a paradise for dance music fans this December when the annual ZoukOut festival is held in the country once again.

Taking place on December 10th at Siloso Beach on Sentosa island, the event runs all through the night and will see thousands of partygoers enjoying live performances from top names in techno, house, trance and hip-hop music.

Among the acts who will be performing this year are Armin van Buuren, DJ Chuckie, Avicii, Ladytron, Carl Craig, Roger Sanchez and many more.

This year's festival will be notable for a number of reasons, as it will be playing host to R.fm Cinema, a film screening initiative being conducted as part of A Design Film Festival 2011: Singapore Edition.

It means attendees will be able to enjoy mind-bending music videos from the likes of Massive Attack and Scissor Sisters.

ZoukOut 2011 will also mark the first time in its 11-year history that the event falls on a full moon night, providing an atmospheric backdrop for the frivolities.

The party runs from 18:00 local time until 08:00 the next morning, with tickets available for S$98 (£48.20) at the door, or S$88 for advance bookings.
