4 The Troops was established in March 2003 by California resident Anne Galvan when she was inspired by watching the news about the troops marching into Baghdad. She was so moved by the bravery of these soldiers that she immediately began her mission to support them. Since establishing this non-profit organization in 2003, 4 The Troops has reached thousands of troops deployed in Iraq, Afghanistan and all over the world thanks to the generous support of the citizens of the United States.

4 The Troops is a national charity incorporated in the State of California. Founder and President Anne Galvan has worked diligently for the past two years to send care packages of support to both the wounded and deployed troops in hopes that she can
motivate a new greatest generation to band together to support the troops. Some examples of the packages she sends include themes like Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentines Day and 4th of July, which have been a big hit to the troops' morale. Other projects include sending gifts to the wounded troops at Walter Reed Army Hospital. The troops have been so grateful that the founder was presented with a signed flag by the Army's 4th Infantry unit, the unit that captured Saddam Hussein.
