DirectRooms.com – Key Issues Related to Adoption Come Under Review in Cardiff on 12 April 2011

Contact and Identity in Adoption will focus on a number of themes to ensure all parties involved with helping children can learn from the event. Subjects coming under discussion will include how contact should be made with infants as children go through care proceedings. Experts can also be heard presenting findings on how children feel about their own identity and finding out about who they really are in respect to their birth parents and adoptive family. Throughout the course experts will give their advice and this will come from leading doctors, lecturers and social workers in the field. Industry members can attend to hear about research into areas such as how children feel about their real parents and their new parents. The impact of a parent’s actions is another area of discussion and several workshops are due to run to give attendees practical sessions on current topics. Delegates will be looking for cheap Cardiff hotels near to the Wales Millennium Centre on 12th April 2011 when the event takes place and this could lead to a shortage of rooms in nearby hotels.
