Gearing Up for Success Earth Studio Introduces New Bike Art Products at Interbike 2008

Manufacturers such as Earth Studio from Moab Utah, are seeking more ways to fill a niche in this fast growing community by producing bicycle themed metal art and jewelry. The retailer will be participating in the wildly popular Interbike Expo in Las Vegas later this month for the 4th consecutive year. Interbike is regarded among cycling enthusiasts as one of the most important annual events in the global cycling community. The expo features exhibits, product launches, and seminars from industry leaders; attendance is expected to top 23,000.
Katie Parentice, Marketing Director of Earth Studio, is looking forward to the event. "Interbike is the perfect venue for us to debut our new products. New products include a line of sterling silver jewelry: Love 2 Ride and Heart Gear pendants & earrings along with a sterling silver triathlon themed piece: Swim, Bike, and Run pendant. They will also be premiering the Finish Line Roadie Sculpture, Power the Turns Roadie Sculpture and the Wheelie Mountain Bike Sculpture. "These items are our best sellers and the participants in this convention are going to love these pieces" says Parentice.
The bicycle art and jewelry is handcrafted by local artists in the Moab workshop. Nothing is imported. The art is inspired by the vast and spectacular natural environment in Utah. The artists combine technology, production, and handcrafted finishes, to offer customers pieces of art that are unique and affordable. “We think it is pretty cool that our products are made in the USA. Consumers are getting hip to American made products – we’re proud to be a part of that,” says Parentice. The studio adapts sustainable practices into their bike sculptures by recycling all scrap steel, and using environmentally paints and sealers.
