Local Minnesota Couple Creates Reality TV Show

Released on: August 12, 2008, 1:54 pm

Press Release Author: Chris Otten / CAO Productions

Industry: Entertainment

Press Release Summary: The “Reuniters” is a new concept for a TV reality show, with
the following mission statement: ‘A decorated and dedicated group of investigators
collaborate to reunite individuals who have shared dramatic, life changing events in
the past, and due to circumstance beyond their control, have never been able to
locate each other or realize closure. The “Reuniters” are able to facilitate those
activities.‘ This show will take the viewer through the processes involved, along
with the trials and triumphs of bringing people together.

Press Release Body: The ‘pilot’ episode is in the final stages of production, and a
local talk show recently broadcast an informational piece with clips and key
interviews. On Tuesday, August 4th, 2008, “Twin Cities Live - TCL” (KSTP, Channel 5
locally) interviewed one of the show’s investigators, spoke to one of the Vietnam
Veteran’s highlighted in the pilot episode, and aired clips of the pilot episode.

The show’s creators, Steve and Mara Reichel of Brooklyn Center, MN, have extensive
credentials in the “people finding” business; Steve as a skip tracer, and Mara as a
background researcher. As two of the Twin Cities’ premier investigators, they have
made a living for much of their adult lives locating individuals for a multitude of
civil, criminal, and personal rationales. This show was borne out of that vast
experience. Plus, it more importantly allowed the Reichel’s to give something back
to others. “The satisfaction of reuniting lost souls, and this special opportunity
to share the actual course of action with the television viewing public, is what
makes this all real for Mara and myself”, stated Steve, in a recent phone interview.
“It was a pleasant surprise when other professional investigators, production
talent, etc. were so eager to join us on this project. None of us could have
imagined the awesome upside to reuniting individuals and groups, until we shared in
the emotions at the conclusion of the pilot episode. We can’t wait to get started on
the next assignment!”

The “Reuniter” team has also created a ‘temporary’ website dedicated to providing
background information on the cast, a forms page for visitors to submit their ideas
for future episodes, and a news page to update interested parties on the status of
production activities. You may view this site by copying The Reuniter URL (
http://www.thereuniters.com/ ) to your browser.

Take a moment to visit these two websites, and be sure to watch the streaming video
about the show (scroll down to the bottom of the TCL Past Shows page that opens and
select the video icon next to “The Reuniters” story). After doing so, take another
moment to tell KSTP and “Twin Cities Live” that you’d like to see this show on the
network by dispatching a message with your support. The URL\'s at the bottom of this
page will take you directly to the contact pages for KSTP and the “Twin Cities Live”
talk show. Just follow the on screen navigation to call, write, or e-mail your
encouragement.
