Sealock security devices that are used to lock and seal cargo containers is now available in three models; the Keeper Sealock, the Single Use Sealock, and the Sealock Junior. Sealock Security Systems was started twelve years ago. The purpose of the company was to design new tamper proof devices to improve the security of cargo containers and trailers that are used in many areas of the transportation business. The devices created by Sealock Security Systems were originally designed to fight cargo theft but since the attacks on the Twin Towers, the devices have been used to fight terrorism.
Sealock security devices are the only devises that are not only designed to keep a cargo container securely locked but the devices also seal the containers. The Single Use Sealock is attached to the keeper bars of a cargo container and keeps the doors from opening. If a thief were to tamper with the device, the seal would be broken so the tampering would be evident. The Single Use Sealock is also made of thick steel that requires specific tools to remove it. Since most thieves do not carry the tools needed to break into the Sealock, the container is tamper proof.
The Sealock Junior is similar to the Single Use Sealock and is just as capable of preventing break ins, however it costs less. The Sealock Junior is lightweight and requires two cuts in order for the seal to be removed. The Sealock Junior is a single loop made of steel aircraft cable and a plastic insert.
The Keeper Sealock is similar to the Sealock Junior. The Keeper Sealock had double loops that lock and seal cargo containers. The Keeper Sealock requires two cuts to remove. The Keeper Sealock is made of steel aircraft cable and if the cables are cut the cable will fray. All Keeper Sealocks are engraved with the same serial number so a counterfeit seal can be easily detected.
