Cancer Family Care Creates Partnership with echoDonations org(tm) Local Nonprofit Jump-Starts a New Year with Breakthrough Techniques in Fundraising

Released on: March 7, 2008, 7:31 am

Press Release Author: Michelle Matthews

Industry: Non Profit

Press Release Summary: Cancer Family Care, a local nonprofit, has chosen to partner
with echoDonations.org™ in order to improve their donation process. The web-based
technology used by echoDonations.org™ has been integrated into Cancer Family Care’s
online donation process.

Press Release Body: CINCINNATI, OH, February 15, 2008 – Cancer Family Care (CFC) and
echoDonations.org™ (echo) has kicked off the year with a new and exciting
partnership. The web-based technology used by echoDonations.org™ has been integrated
into Cancer Family Care’s online donation process. Through the use of echo’s new
technology, those who wish to donate to CFC may now do so with the incentive to
receive Lifetime Cash Rewards™ for their generosity.
Everyday, nonprofit organizations continually seek ways to build a new donor base,
sustain loyal donors, and to raise funds needed to deliver their mission.
echoDonations.org™ recognizes that incentives are part of the motivations to give to
nonprofit organizations. Using this logic, echo’s technology allows donors to
receive cash rewards as a sign of appreciation for their donations. This reward is
not only a wonderful thank you letter, but an incentive to remain loyal to a
nonprofit organization you care about as well.

“I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to partner with echoDonations.org. They are
unique in providing philanthropists the opportunity to maximize their online giving
through a professionally managed Charitable Mutual Fund. To my knowledge, no other
online giving tool makes this possible. I suspect many of our supporters will be
eager to learn more about this exciting new option,” Brent Seelmeyer, Executive
Director for Cancer Family Care said.

In an effort to attract new donors and keep loyal donors faithful, Cancer Family
Care has taken the first step in entering a new segment of the market through
echoDonations.org™. Online donations to CFC are now channeled through echo. Their
donors still have the option to make a traditional, one-time donation that goes
immediately to CFC, but they now have new options as well. Donors can choose to
invest their donation in a charitable mutual fund, in which the money earns an
average interest of 8% each year, growing every year until the donor passes away, at
which time the original donation is given to CFC. The donors can choose to give the
entire 8% interest earned to CFC each year, or the donor can choose to split the
interest 50/50 with CFC each year. Through this simple concept, the power of every
donation, big and small, is maximized to its greatest potential.

As awareness of echoDontions.org™ breakthrough technology increases through social
media and marketing plans, it hopes to become a part of many nonprofit
organizations, aiding them in their financial goals. Two of echo’s most important
objectives are as follows: 1) allowing individual donors to feel valued and make a
difference and 2) planning for the future. Many individuals find it difficult to
believe that their $25 can actually help an organization. However,
echoDonations.org™ makes this a reality. A gift as small as $25 can grow throughout
a donor’s lifetime, maximizing the full potential of even the smallest donations. In
utilizing this process, not only will donors notice the impact their money has made,
but yearly funding is secured for Cancer Family Care, and a strong foundation for
their future is built.
