Continuous Oxygen Deficiency Monitor

Released on = February 7, 2007, 3:00 pm

Press Release Author = PureAire Monitoring Systems, Inc.

Industry = Semiconductors

Press Release Summary = Oxygen Deficiency Monitor; Features Long Life, Economical
Operation

Press Release Body = An extremely economical, low-maintenance oxygen deficiency (O2)
monitor is now available from PureAire Monitoring Systems. Ideal for quickly
detecting oxygen displacement in inert gas storage areas, cryogenic freezers,
refrigeration rooms, and other locations where low oxygen levels may pose a hazard
to personnel, the PureAire Air check Ö O2 Deficiency Monitor is suitable for either
indoor or outdoor use. The instrument displays oxygen concentrations on a local
digital display and outputs a corresponding analog signal. Other features include
user-settable O2 deficiency alarms and dual alarm relays.
The heart of the PureAire Air check Ö O2 Deficiency Monitor is a long-lasting
zirconium type sensor, which responds to low oxygen conditions within 5 seconds and
provides accurate measurements even under wide fluctuations in temperature,
pressure, and humidity. The sensor boasts a 5+ year operational life and requires
absolutely no maintenance. The system’s operating temperature and humidity ranges
are -22° to 122°F (-30° to 50°C) and 0 to 99% RH, respectively.
The Air check Ö may be linked to any system control and data acquisition system or
programmable logic controller. It operates on 24 VDC power, measures 5.5 (W) x 10.5
(H) x 3.25 (D) inches (140 x 267 x 83 mm), and is housed in a NEMA 4X enclosure.
Modbus and wireless communication are optional, as is an Explosion-proof enclosure.
