Press Release Body = OPERATION IRAQI CHRISTMAS CARDS
Pastor Deb Bailey owner of Arkyfaith Church has once again kicked off the “Operation Christmas Cards” for the deployed soldiers of Iraq and World wide nations. This will be the 3rd year for the campaign and each year more and more soldiers are added to the list to receive handmade Christmas cards that her youth group of 10 teens ages 13-19 make each year.
Last year the youth group passed out over 1500 cards to troops station in Iraq and worldwide. It is estimated that some 56% of all deployed military soldiers worldwide do not even receive a letter from home or their spouse.
Pastor Deb has made it her and the youth groups mission to give to those who are far away serving our country. She says it makes her youth group feel like they are contributing to a lifetime of happiness to see just one soldier read their cards and let them think back to a time of family and traditions. Things this great nation was built on in the first place.
