New website aims to help save the bears

Packed full with profiles of the major bears of the world there are also information
guides on how Man is exploiting these wonderful creatures including Bear Farming,
Bear Hunting, Bear Parks and Bears in Zoos and Circuses; articles; plus access to
the major organisations who are trying to save the bears.

Jason Hulott, spokesman from the site, said: \"The Save the Bears site is aimed at
showing the public the different ways in which Bears are abused and mistreated. The
site will also show visitors how they can help and support the various wonderful
organisations out there that need funds to continue their work to save some of the
most endangered species on the planet.\"

The site will highlight current campaigns and will shortly be running a ‘Name The
Bear’ competition in conjunction with the WSPA (World Society for the Protection of
Animals).
